I know absolutely nothing about bikes, but am looking to get a road bike to cruise around campus and town.

I like the look of the vintage bikes a lot, and they seem to be within my (very small) budget. I'm not really able to spend more than like $100.

Right now, I am looking at this one:

I live in the area of the seller, and contacted him about just buying it directly from him.

I've thought about just going around to my local thrift stores as well.

What advice do you have for me?
