My submission is an early 80's Eddy Merckx. I just got this bike built up at the local LBS and it rides like butter. Built up as a 12 speed

Its pretty much been a pieced together ebay bike, starting with the frame and other bits. Campy FD,RD, BB, and cranks of various years, mostly chorus. and what I couldn't afford shimano (brakes, headset)

wheels are phils (threaded) with mavic open sport rims

other than that, the bike rides great and I can't wait until the brooks breaks in
