My bike stays in my cube at work, and the only place I lock it out of my sight is at the grocery store. I'm upgrading components bit by bit, and by the time I'm finished I'll have more invested in this bike than in my first car.
The PDG Series-5 that I'm converting to fixed gear is going to be my stripped down, bare bones, lock it up anywhere bike. My Cross Check is my baby, and I won't leave it out for the wolves.
