My first commute since July 2007! A little different than my previous biking experiences in DC--I'm in La Paz, Bolivia now. My commute started at about 10,700 feet about sea level and finished four miles later at 11,500 feet above sea level! Averaged 8.8 mph, which left me breathless at this altitude.

Just imagine if you get used to that and then come back down to 500 feet!
