Bikes: Trek Domane+x2, Trek Emonda

I bought a Fuji America in the Fall of 1982 for just over $700. It was a gorgeous two-tone blue with partially chromed fork and stays. It was also fairly light for a touring bike. It had a Sugino touring triple, DiaCompe brakes, Nitto bars and stem, Cyclone derailleurs with bar-ends, and a Brooks knock-off saddle.

I rode the heck out of that bike until I was T-boned in the Spring of '85. The insurance company gave me full replacement price for it and told me to keep the bike. My LBS straightened it as best they could and I continued to ride it as a fixie for several more years.
