There's nothing wrong with the light grease that comes on it other than it's so sticky that my recent new chain suffered from bad chainsuck. So I cleaned off the grease and lubed with my usual witch's brew.

If you don't have the chainsuck from the grease there's nothing wrong with riding it until it needs cleaning or gets too dry. Being grease it'll need cleaning sooner than going dry.
