Eddo, here is something I discovered. I had a habit of riding not with my sits bones all the way back, sort of in that narrowing area of the saddle. So it gave me enough pressure "there" to numb it up on long rides. So I began to force myself to sit all the way onto the seat, so that I could feel the points of the butt bones in contact with the widest part of the seat. Kind of annoying to sit there at first. My saddle is a Specialized Avatar. Let me tell you, after getting used to it, it has made all the difference. Pivoting at the hips when leaning down into the drops is no longer bothersome in the least, where it used to be a "jones crusher". Don't forget to adjust your saddle forward.
Good luck!
