I am planning on a solo ride tomorrow from Portland to Eugene Oregon, traversing rural roads down the Willamette Valley. I did a 130 miler 2 weeks ago but that was with 3 others. Tomorrow will be solo and considerably longer. I am taking multiple detours to stay on low traffic, scenic roads.
I am considering racing in ultra-distance events this year (Furnace 508 and Race Across Oregon) so I have been winding up the mileage early.
Weather forecast: 100% chance of rain. Pray for me. :gulp:

yeah rain sucks, i did 161 miles in it a few weeks ago, yuck. hopefully you've got full fenders & booties, and maybe even a spare set of gloves. for me, that's required rain gear.
