Dumb question, do you guys transport these things with the valve screwed on? I have one and usually screw it on halfway before I throw it in my bag becuase I'm afraid to pucture the CO2 cartriage. Sometimes, just the pump and cartriage seperate. I know, two items to cary instead of one.
I have the Innovations ultraflate pro and the container that you place the CO2 cartridge in before you screw it on has a hole in the bottom of it. I just turn the cartridge around, put some foam in it (to stop the rattling) and screw it on. Then I don't have to take up more space. I like CO2 systems, but I always carry a frame pump as well and use the CO2 only if I'm in the middle of a ride, or far enough from home that I'll need that 120PSI.
