Good point - it's 5 pounds lighter and several inches smaller in fold size. I already have a 16-inch Strida for the same reasons but it is not as small folded and only a slow single-speed (56"). It has the advantages of light weight (19.4 pounds), five-second fold, wheeled-folded form and ultimate design simplicity that work for me on short, flat urban routes. The 8-speed, 20-inch Fly By is for more demanding rides where the advantage of a folded form is still desired.
