Seriously, I think living where you do would drive me mad, waiting for May for decent weather.
Well, we have chinooks here, and a good chinook could potentially send the temperature up into the double digits at this time of year, which might trigger the grass to turn from brown to greenish-brown or something exciting like that. But unfortunately the last chinook that came through was around March 9th, and only lasted about a week ... and it was too early to push the temps very high, or to make any color changes to the grass. If we get one in early April, that might speed things along a bit.
