Make sure you get the cog and lockring on correctly (i.e., tight), so you don't strip the new hub. By the way Velocity Deep V refers to the rim, but it was the hub that was ruined. You never know, the hubs might be the same or comparable! Still, a cheap hub shouldn't strip if installed correctly.
