At 54, I am reaping the rewards of a healthful lifestyle, which I have blessed to share with my wife of 31 years. Although I was "locked in the basement the day they gave out athletic ability," I am now in better cardiovascular shape than many of the jocks in my high school graduating class. Even more impressive is Velo Retro's Chuck Schmidt, who is now recovering steadily from a serious collision with an errant motor vehicle. Before checking his identification, the paramedics estimated his age at 46 instead of 60.
