here's my old bike:



i didn't want to put tape on the frame, so i put it on the accessories and removable parts: fenders, bottle cage, rack stays, pump, cranks. it's all black tape, except for the extra-bright stuff on the pump. the extra-bright stuff is DOT tape. the tires are schwalbe marathons with that reflex sidewall. the bag has sewn-in cloth reflective tape.

i got 3 or 4 sheets of black reflective tape (with free DOT tape samples) from ebay for under $15. it's 3m removable black retro-reflective tape.

i havent done anything really special to my new bike...yet. we're gonna keep the accessories under control with this one though.
