Although Miyata used splined triple butted tubes they weren't very light. One would think they'd tip the scales evenly with a Colombus SLX or Reynolds 531 but that isnt the case.

Miyatas may be a little heavier but you will not find a tougher more durable frameset On top of the frames being very durable thay have superior paint as well using upto 7 lyaers of primer, paint and clearcoat.
