Bullhorns are overrated. Classic road bars with non-aero levers are wayyyyyyyyyyy classier, and offer an increased number of hand positions.
Also, I wouldn't repaint that thing unless it's severely busted. Hard to tell from the photos, but it looks quite nice to me.
