I am sure it is hard to resist having the frame sent priority overnight as soon as the paint dries, but I think you would appreciate it in the long run having the bike built up by the person that probably cares the most about that finish. And if you are serious about him showing it, then that will even add more to the mystique of your bike. Not to mention if it wins something.
