What you do is up to you, but I'd hate for anyone to get a ticket (or get screwed on a lawsuit) due to a technicality like this.

In addition to the stealth Scotchlite, I run dual PB Superflash lights, a reflector clipped to either my trunk/seatbag/jersey pocket, an L&M solo 13W halogen, and a Petzl Tikka 3LED lamp on my helmet.
