think about this. the slower you are going the more you turn your fonrt wheel to turn. pay attention to how much you turn your wheel to get that point of contact. now do something to avoid the contact. turn your wheel real quick before hte tire hits or point your toe down to keep it from hitting. the faster you are the going the less likely you are to turn your fornt wheel that much...hence the comment about go faster and it won't happen.
