Tubular vs Clincher 50mm Carbon wheels

I'm considering getting some 50mm carbon wheels from the local Pro-Lite guy. He has been holding a set of demo 50mm clinchers for me until I can pay for them, but has tubulars available. The tubular would be more expensive, but I thought the clinchers would be better for me. I don't race that often, I'm slow, and would use the wheels more then occasionally for races.

Clinchers are cheaper and I already have tires ready to go. I would share them between 2 bikes.

Tubulars are more expensive, I would need tubular tires and new brake pads, but are lighter and have a much more of a cool factor.

Any reason to dump the clinchers and go tubular?
