I have never used any other carbon specific brake pads since this is my first set of carbon wheels. Everyone has told me that the brakes are going to feel "mushy" with carbon wheels and carbon specific pads. So with my first ride, I was expecting them to feel like crap. I think the Swiss Stop yellow pads stop much better than my regular pads on with my ES's. The yellow pads will stop me on a dime and are very responsive. So, I would say they are worth the money.
