I know a spraycan job won't last forever (or even a season) but for some reason I am hesitant of clear coating it, maybe because the original paint job is matte. Any thoughts? Don't rush to clear coat. When I painted up my frame last year I was a little to eager to get rolling on it and clear coated before the paint really cured enough. There are a couple spots on the frame where the paint + clear looked a little melty.
