whirred. In fact, going to the islands on a Friday night would be cool too, but not something for EVERY Friday. The problem with High Park is just that it's a bit out of the way for the East end peeps. You can get campfire permits for Dufferin Grove as well, which would be fun. But they have a BYOW policy, which kind of puts a damper on things.

edit: unrelated question -- toe clip straps? can you get those pretty much anywhere? They don't need to be anything fancy. I saw The Veteran Cyclist (aka. cavernmech) using them to attach his front wheel to his frame on a fork-mount roof rack, and it seemed like a smart idea. That way I don't have muddy wheels taking up space in my trunk.
