The rest week has gone well thus far.
Monday: 45 minutes in the gym (cardio/core/bodyweight exercises)
Tuesday: 8mi TT @ 342w (for the win)
Wed/Thur: Off
Friday: 1:20, 3 quick sprints, 40 min L4 interval @ 300w to open the legs up for the Rock Hill crit tomorrow - I NEEDED to ride today. For one, I was going crazy after two days off

and two, my legs were made of wood for the first half hour of the ride, then I opened up and felt pretty f'n strong and pushed a solid threshold session, but capped the workout time to reduce BS time on the bike.
Feeling good about the races. I'm working on channeling Jens, generalized hate for myself and the world at large, and a new favorite - RacerEx's "rabid pitbull."
