Hey everyone.

I've started my search for a new bike to use for touring (my previous bike, a DeVinci Patriot MTB with front RockShox was ok but after about 20,000KM in 6 years it's starting to show it's age and limitations). I'm a rather small size -- 5' 1" -- so this has made the search somewhat daunting. Prior to the Patriot I had a Cannondale H800 (which got stolen) but it's top bar was too long.

Anyways, that all said while I'm interested in Devinci's Touring bike, Caribou, because I've found the Patriot to be of a decent size I still have been asking around for advice as to what to get for a new touring bike (one that can take a beating). Someone recently suggested a Gunnar Rock Tour. So, has anyone tried, used, bought, built one?
