Bikes: Fuji Roubaix / Scott CR-1

When you top a hill and 30-40 seconds later your breathing is back to where it was before you hit the hill, then you are in great shape. If it took 3 min or longer to get your wind back then you may not be in good shape. Bottom line, the quicker your recovery whether it be hills or flats, the better shape you are in.
