I can understand this concern. I don't have a soul, so I don't worry about ethics, but if I did it would be hard to do anything. I've suggested to others in this position that you invest in 'good' stocks, and donate 50% of your earnings to a charity you like. But since it's in your RRSP you can't really do that.

You could likely keep the money in a GIC and make no real money but at least it would be somewhat ethical.
