This is for a friend who owns Bulldog Bike Restorations (
www.bulldogbikerestoration.com). He sells mostly
vintage bikes from the
70s 80s, but of course it's whatever comes in the door so could be mt. bikes from the 90s or even late model. For the most part though: road bikes, some
3-speeds,
mixtes, 10-sp, 12-sp, 15-sp and 18-sp make up most of the lot. Schwinn, Raleigh, Peugeot, Trek, Diamond Back, Nishiki, Specialized, Miyata, Univega...you get the idea.
If you're looking for a fancy pristine shop to work in, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. He works out of his basement (but has plenty of room) and has a workbench cleared out ready for mechanic to move in with their stuff. He's a great guy who knows how to fix bikes but wants to learn more so it could be a two-way relationship in what knowledge you bring to the shop. He's a good guy - no attitude and treats you with respect.
So if you're familiar with these bikes and have 20+ hrs to spare during the week, contact Joe at:
