Hey guys, first post, new to these forums, not to forums in general. I have an 02' DK General Lee yadda yadda, put her back together after my other ride was jacked yesterday. The freewheel seems to be kinda ****ed up, i have put chain tensioners on but i think the freewheel is janky. i notice that the crank will still keep going after ive pedaled, not really idle along.... and the chain isnt too tight and neither is the axle.... remind you the freewheel is 6 years old and saw alot of abuse..... i was thinking maybe lubing it up and seeing if it moves more freely, but i think i might have squished the bearings, not too sure. Should I go with a replacement since its cheap enough, do you recomend putting in a cassette hub? if so which one do you recomend? Any input would be greatly appreciated guys. This is my major mode of transportation for the next six months.
