That's the only quantifiable means I know to get close - - the rest is (literally) seat-of-the-pants evaluations. But maybe it will help. Personally I can't stand the Body Jihad line; but that is just me; YMMV.
Thanks for that, I been looking, I believe there is a shop in Ormond that is a Specialized dealer.

As much as I would love a $140 dollar saddle I just don't have the money, but I need to do something if I want to ride. Today I've ended up with terrible groin pain, and pain in the sits area again, I know I'm out of shape and I need to just get back in the swing of things, I just don't want to damage anything
