Conti Travelcontacts are some of the best rolling semiknobby tire I've ridden. Robust, ridden them down 2,000 vertical feet of softball sized riffraff that was passing for a fire road here in Washington State once, and many more miles of mixed road riding.

They have an interesting characteristic of becoming more stable as your speed increases on pavement. I've had them over 50MPH with a loaded touring bike off the North Cascades Highway and they felt impressively stable.
