My winter/beater bike(s) I just left platform for the snow/ice crap. Now it's not so slippy, I've retired the beater and going with eggbeaters once again. I've got them on my roadie (likely use these on my Rob Roy build until I get another set... 2Ti ones are tempting me ) I also have some campus pedals with SPD/platform kicking about, but haven't used them in a while.

I've never got the hang of clips/straps, though never really given them a fair try I guess. I might get some for the summer to try out.
