Here to stay in the sense that in the future there will be more on the street than there were before the current fad started. That being said, I expect a massive drop in the number seen on the street do to the fact that currently fixed gear bikes are a fad. This is very clear by the sheer number of fashion accessories currently available for FG bikes and their young riders. (Colored parts, TT pads, extremely expensive messenger bags, etc)
