Actually ALAN made the very first carbon cross bike! ALAN has been producing frames in Italy since 1972. ALAN is now making a cross frame called the X40. If you look closely it looks allot like the Colnago and the new Guerciotti seen at Eurobike. That is because ALAN dose contract work for other companies. I just built up a new ALAN X40 and I can tell you it rides better than my road bike.
