Front deraileurs are cheap. Get a shimano altus, alivio, or deore. The clamp size should be stamped on the inside of the clamp. You'll have to take it off to see. I'm not sure if an actual measurement of the seattube is the value they use for the clamp though so that might not be the best route to check the size.
