Well yeah, I got over the top mad with this one. If he had chewed up something else I wouldn't have been as angry, but my brand new bibs that I can't replace until the team orders again? Oh boy was I ticked. He had 'em in his mouth when I got mad at him, so hopefully he'll learn a lesson.
Chewing aside, he's a great dog w/lots of personality. I've already learned a lot and realize I have a lot more to go.
In the meantime I might resort to soaking all my cycling stuff with bitter apple. 
Oh and I have to get the lab border collie mix I also have
('nother stray) from digging. sigh - these critters keep you on your toes don't they. 
an interesting mix of one of the dumbest breeds out there with possibly the smartest.
