General tools like a metric combination socket set and a set of metric hex wrenches are a given. From there you're into specialized bicycle specific tools. Things like thin cone wrenches, pedal wrenches. bottom bracket G wrenches, head set wrenches and freewheel tools. Some of those are brand, size and age specific so you'd need to get the bike first and then go from there.
