You aren't a bad owner (although I cringe when I think of how pissed you must have been at Harley ). There's just as much training that goes into the dog as there is that goes into the owner. I've had dogs my entire life and I still think I should take my dog to obedience classes, even if only to learn where to direct his endless energy. You never stop learning.
