What do you all think?
Mid-range Shimano would be fine. These seal cartridge BB are easy to install and remove (unlike the older version which required lots of force to remove the left side). Personally I bought 5 or 6 Nashbar branded square BB when they were on sale for $6 and use those. So far I've not had to replace one yet. Check spindle length needed -- I think Sugino recommends 113mm spindle lenght for their triple XD crank. I use 115 length with mine Sugino crank.
P.S. I recommend the Sugino XD 300 ($54 aebike.com) rather than the XD 600 ($94 at aebike.com), a little heavier (no problem when touring since bike and gear heavy anyway), but has steel rings which should last longer than alloy rings on the 600.
