Howdy from Pennsylvania!

Hi bicyclists!

I just built a Robinson long-wheelbase recumbent out of 2 by 4's and recycled mountain bike parts, and a set of road-bicycle gears. I have ridden recumbent bicycles before, but this is the first one that I owned.

It is very, very comfortable. I look forward to putting miles on it soon. So far, I have ridden it for six or seven hours. As soon as I get the gear-shifting problem ironed out, I'll hit the roads with it. The terrain here in central PA is quite hilly, so I need at least ten gears that shift instantly.

C-ya,

Allan
