i've been thinking about this a lot lately and I really believe that Phil is the way to go for fixie riders. You get about a 5 mm leeway left or right with a Phil thus allowing you to achieve a perfect chanline every time without messing with spacers. You can't go wrong with that. Maybe it is worth the $150 for the BB and rings. Not to mention the BB will last until YOU die not your bike.
