New skin and my knee vs the sun
Now that I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel I was pondering an instruction my doctor gave me. I suppose I could ask my doctor during my next weekly visit for my knee but as I said before, I am bored.
Once my knee finishes healing my body will have basically replaced 90% of the skin on my knee. My original wound tore my knee apart down to the bone.
My instructions are to keep it covered in sunscreen. Being that I spend roughly 24 hrs a week riding in the sun at a mile above see level I wonder if this is adequate. Meaning that since I ride in lycra I am wondering if knickers or knee warmers would be the way to go? Do they make said items light enough to keep me from over heating in 90 degree temps?
