I painted my fork real good and fired it in the oven for a bit to harden the pain. It came out so nice, but the only problem was that I didn't account for the expansionary properties of metal (I assume). It slipped out of the mint position I had it in at the start contributing to some marring the dropouts. Don't forget your science folks. I went to the paint store to get some clear coat but found that it has "carcinogenic" properties. No dice. Happy Friday!
I still have the box my IRO frameset came in - is that suitable? If so, you can have it - I won't be home until late tonight but it's in an outdoor area... PM me if you want to go grab it today, I'll be around tomorrow though.
Edit: yes indeed the wind sucks large balls, I didn't mind the rain since I had on my full suit (all British pattern DPM camo
) - that and the train was a good 30 mins late in the end, I guess it's bound to happen.
