They used to be $9 I should have picked up a dozen or so sets. The pyramids are $11.88, but I would try the parts bin at the local LBS before going that route. Shimano exage or some aero-compes could probably be had for $5 or so a pair, depending upon your location of course.

I fully endorse the Tektros though, and i'm sure you've probably spent $17 on less.
