Actually, the Phil might outlast me. I did put in the new spindle last night, and it fit pretty much perfect - my chainline is a lot better now. But there is a defect in the cup that will have to be addressed, otherwise this one is going to end up with the same problems.

Man, yesterday was way to long - right when I got the BB open over at Erik's, he brought out the bottle of Glenmorgain... So the day started at about 7:30am on Thurs and ended about 2am Saturday... And I still have to do more work on the bike, because whatever chain lube he had just brought grease out from everywhere and my chain is now black and so is a lot of the celeste on my bike...
