Well, it'll sure give lots of clearance for snow and mud. And at least he hid the fact that the fenders are oversize by keeping them concentric with the wheels. But still, that's way too much daylight between the fenders and tires for my tastes. This is what I meant about ensuring that they have the right curve to match the 26's. Note how the area around the brakes has to get special attention due to the spacing depending on your brake system setup.
I'd suggest looking for similar section fenders but that are curved to more closely match 26 inch tires. Although it may take some hunting to find narrow fit fenders in 26 inch. I know because I've looked. I eventually compromised by using the more boat tail'ly like fenders that don't closely follow the tires.
