The adjusting screw is at the rear of the pedal, when the preferred interface is pointing upwards. IOW, pretend your foot is clipped into the pedal, the adjusting screw will be the one nearest the heel of your foot. Also, look at the pedal around the hex adjusting screw, it might have a "+" or "-" symbols, indicating "tighten" and "loosening" directions.
ok, I figured it out--thanks for the help guys.
The screws don't 'click' when I tighten and loosen them, so I'll just have to try to make them all as equal as possible by feel.
