Had my BB rebuilt by the LBS. They thought I wanted the cranks left off ( a mis-understanding, no biggy) so they were off when I picked it up. I put them on and noticed that the inner chainring (a 28T biopace ring) rubs twice during a revolution, where the biopace widens out a bit. I hate it. The bike is so smooth, otherwise!

What could cause this? Backwards spindle? I'd love to get it fixed asap. If I could just grind a tiny bit off the teeth that are rubbing, that would work too. Suggestions?

BTW I haven't called the LBS yet, but am going to on Monday when they are open.
