I recently purchased a Specialized Allez Sport as an entry level, getting-to-know-the-sport road bike. I've been pounding away on it and already I find myself wanting more. I took an 07' Tarmac Comp out and absolutely loved it. The weight made such a huge difference, and the components even more so.

As such, I've done a fantastic job convincing myself that it's rational to purchase a new bike already.

I loved the Tarmac Comp, but have always wanted to ride a Cervelo. I've been doing a lot of research on the Team Soloist and it seems like a fantastic buy. Ultegra all around, aero-frame, light, fast, nimble. For $2100 it seems spot on.

Does anyone have experience with the team soloist, the tarmac comp, or any other comparable bike in the same price range? Any suggestions? Things to look for? Am I missing anything in my inexperience? Any help is appreciated.
