The ride is a little faster, but ALWAYS on time. I typically beat my door to door subway time by 10 minutes. 6 miles is pretty far in NY! It's not "...as the crow flies" by any means. Driving would take far longer.

The NYC subways can regularly become delayed. Sick passenger, signal trouble, police action.
